I posted…
The signs are NOT a lie. Here is the sample ballot. Go to https://nopooltaxes.com for factual information and a discussion of what a permanent Metropolitan Park District is under Washington law RCW 35.61 and the APPOINTED Board structure that FOTP has chosen to govern it.
From FOTP's own website about the Methow Aquatics Center they want to build...
"The MAC draft plan (from the feasibility study) includes two pools of different designs and temperatures for a diverse user group ranging in age from young to old and varying mobilities. A six-lane pool would be used for lap swimming, swim competitions, and other higher exertion activities where cooler water is best. Alongside this, would be a warmer recreational pool suited to children’s lessons, exercise for adults, and rehabilitation."
Check it out: https://static1.squarespace.com/.../Met ... ey+Aquatic...
You do NOT need a Metropolitan Park District (MPD) for funding and leadership for a public swimming pool. A MPD is NOT bound to public input and what they will build.

FOTP New post, 10/1. There is a new post, showing the signs and posters we have, and they are refuting them saying they are a lie, in a 45 second blurb, that really says nothing. A responder requested that they have a more detailed response than what they are using.
They say that a MPD, which is not mentioned really, is not to fund a $20 million facility. Well go on and view it and see what you think.

This is so if FOTP deletes comments or the thread, we have a record of the original.
