That's a clip that supports what I said (I was 50 billion low) and also supports what DJT says and seems to agree with his premise. If you think a 10% tariff difference is going to be a huge problem that doesn't seem to be their strong point in the clip and I don't think is likely to be a huge problem. I read a while back that something like 70% of Toyotas sold in the US are assembled in No America, including in the US. So that would explain at least some of Toyota’s advantages. Funny though, that they get a leg up!

Toyota was up 8% today based on the news of 15% tariff agreement. Why? It's simple. Ford, GM, Tesla and all other American manufacturers are going to be paying 50% more for their steel, 50% more for copper, 25% more for Canadian production, 25% more for Mexican production and 55% more for Chinese production.

Toyota only has to pay 15% more and they're done with all the shenanigans.

Ford has to pay much more, a lot more.

Trump has given a Japanese car company an advantage over an American car company. All in hope of bringing auto jobs back to America.
