Planes in the air turned around

Such a harrowing story. Thankfully the judge brought the court back into session today and was able to actually turn the planes around mid flight. 600 children, minors, unaccompanied. Let that sink in.
BREAKING!! YES!!! NEW 'PLANES IN THE AIR' CASE WITH PLANES CARRYING MIGRANT CHILDREN HALTED IN MID-AIR BY JUDGE TODAY (SUNDAY)
To any of you who doubted that our courts and judges are working overtime to protect the people - *all* of the people - may I present Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, who just an hour or so ago, on a Sunday in the middle of a holiday, *stopped* the Trump administration’s planes from taking off *this afternoon* with untold numbers of migrant children on their way to be deported to Guatemala.
UNACCOMPANIED MINORS!
WITHOUT DEPORTATION ORDERS!
And guess what! The lawyer for the administration not only acknowledged it, but said that he believed that one of the planes was already in the air but, and this is important, unlike the last “planes in the air” case, at the beginning of all this, *this* time the administration’s lawyer immediately communicated the judges order (we’ll get to that in a moment) to the planes, and the plane that was in the air *turned around and came back*!!
Not only that, the administration lawyer, Drew Ensign, confirmed that all of the kids on the planes would be taken off the planes and returned to HHS’ care (HHS is responsible for caring for minors who enter the country without permission and without their parents).
Here is the judge’s minute order (a minute order is issued from the bench, and entered into the record, rather than taking the time to write it up and issue a formal, paper order):
“MINUTE ORDER: The Court has reviewed the Plaintiffs' Complaint and Motion for Temporary Restraining Order. Given the exigent circumstances, it has determined that an immediate Order is warranted to maintain the status quo until a hearing can be set. As the Plaintiffs have satisfied the four factors governing the issuance of preliminary relief, the Court accordingly ORDERS that: 1) The Plaintiffs' 2 Motion for TRO is GRANTED; 2) The Defendants shall not remove any of the individual Plaintiffs from the United States for 14 days absent further Order of the Court; and 3) The parties shall appear for a hearing on August 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in Courtroom 14 before Judge Sparkle L.
