Re: Discussions from political cartoon thread...
Or is it closer to the truth than you'll admit to yourself (or here)?

Re: Political Cartoons...
Well, now that the Epstein estate has released the infamous birthday book and Trump's drawing to Congress we have verification that the WSJ article that first published the Trump cartoonish card is real. Probably safe to bet that the $12B Trump sued the WSJ for is a moot lawsuit now.

Re: Discussions from political cartoon thread...
Well in 2020, I would have preferred to perfectly vote for a decent republican presidential candidate and platform, but considering the trump/maga sh**show, I was left with the imperfect choice of voting for Biden. Biden respected the office of the president and the associated responsibilities for the good of the people, even though I thought he was too old to be running. Same thing in 2024... Same sh**show left me no republican alternatives.

That is correct, I'm no sycophant. You, and those here have asserted that no matter if true but you use it as a bludgeon and support those who falsely accuse me.

So, are you saying you are imperfect in your support of trump/maga? I accept that.

Re: Discussions from political cartoon thread...
The U.S. added 22,000 jobs in August, with unemployment rising slightly to 4.3%, in the latest sign of a slowing economy.
The numbers, from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, have taken on new scrutiny after President Donald Trump fired the head of the agency following July’s lackluster jobs report, even as economists warned that the move was a step toward politicizing the statistics gathering of the federal government.
The latest jobs figures were lower than a number of economists expected. As is typical, the BLS revised its figures for July up slightly, by 6,000, to 79,000 jobs added during the month. But the June figures were revised down, from 14,000 to a loss of 13,000. That is the first month of job loss since December 2020, noted Heather Long, chief economist at Navy Federal.

Above my pay grade to have any insights into your question and the ick factor will keep me steering clear of any rabbit holes.
As the Nixon era taught us, 'it's the coverup that will getcha' and for those who won't be specifically on any list, it's the enablers that will join them in the consequences and that's going to be a helluva big list.
I'm liking that the 2 Congressmen who are leading the push for this list to be publlicized recognize that the victims will face huge exposure to lawsuits so they plan on using their Congressional protections and will read the list on the floor of Congress because that will be protected by statute from liability.

I doubt all of them, but wouldn't be surprised if one or two were. And Denny Hastert seems to have preferred boys.Rideback wrote: Thu Sep 04, 2025 6:11 am Good fix.
Ken's use of the word IF is the tell.
What's the bet that the Epstein list will include Rupert Murdoch, Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, the Koch brothers, Denny Hastert, Newt Gingrich and Mitch McConnel?
My question continues to be, "why do cults almost always appear to have some weird sexual abuse, often of children, thing in their culty ways?"

Nope, not even close. There was never a switch and Trump killing terrorists who are drugging our citizens is just fine. You are full of sh**, I don't care what 'degree' you say you have you're wrong over and over.

Re: Discussions from political cartoon thread...
Ken, why didn't you read the link I gave? Why haven't you bothered to check on Jingles' post to see if it's accurate? The only possible answer is that you know if you checked you'd find your opinion had no basis in history, that Jingles' post was bunk and that your effort to protect pedophile Trump is empty.
Trump is losing in every court across the land for the simple reason that he is acting outside the laws of this Country and with the strike on the Venezuelan boat that he authorized he has crossed the lines of global maritime law as well now. There is nothing about his actions that speak to someone who respects law and order and no matter how many times you guys rewrite history it won't change today's Trump administration law breaking.

As someone who has History degree, focused on that exact period, I can assure you that you have your head completely and firmly very, very far up your own ignorant trump-tard azz. Everything you can see is brown. You need to blink more frequently.dorankj wrote: Wed Sep 03, 2025 4:30 pm There was never a "party switch", the republican party was formed to abolish slavery and Abraham Lincoln (emancipation proclamation) was the first Republican president.

There was never a "party switch", the republican party was formed to abolish slavery and Abraham Lincoln (emancipation proclamation) was the first Republican president. Talk about rewriting history! 'Joe Biden was completely with it and never had any (family) corruption!'

I take Jingles cartoonish post as a capitulation. Having to go back and rewrite history in order to defend Trump is a pretty big white flag of surrender.
