Suppression and management of wildland fires in Canada is different than in the US. There, wildland firefighting is almost completely a Provincial responsibility….unlike in the US where it is a combination of Federal and State (and local) resources and responsibility. Provinces in Canada do share resources among each other.
New to me is this site…. but maybe it has been around for a while: https://cwfis.cfs.nrcan.gc.ca/home
It aggregates fire information, mapping, forecasts, smoke, etc - all in one spot.
Previously, one had to look at each Province’s fire information site.
