While I agree that some terms are derogatory and could be offensive to some, you can't change history by being politically correct, which is nothing more than believing you can pick a turd up by the clean end

I will admit that I really don't click political offsite links, and it is also true with this one.
The word Indian is definitely being phased out for Natives of this continent.
I am worse. I am Lakota Sioux through adoption of my mother into a family that described each other as Injuns.
Its the word that slips off my tongue naturally as my gramps used it all the time to describe himself.
Am I awful to love Injuns by that term or will it damage my credibility to my Lord and God.
I am considering actively tying my tongue when the word begins to slip off my tongue.

Even worse. My friends described each other with the N word. It was natural to us in all our jibber jabber between Brothers.
I have been successful mostly in eliminating this word from my talk. Richard Prior was on tv when I was quite young. He had just gotten back from Africa which he found to be a spiritual experience. He was on TV saying he cannot use the n word anymore. As well, He asked us all to quit using this word.

I am digging into my mind realizing all the terms I know for derogatory terms against culture and race are many.
I listen to worship music on the radio to help reprogram my neural pathways into kinder more gentle spirit.
