Washington state’s nation-leading gasoline prices should serve as a warning

1. Will people now vacation out of side of Washington State because it's cheaper to travel?

2. Will Washington State help the poor purchase electric vehicles?

2. If you think the state will do that, especially here on the sane side of the mtns, you must live in one of the pot Shops and are continously burning product

it was a rhetorical question jingles. Of course Wa. State will not help the poor buy electric vehicles,yet the poor will be hit the hardest as more essential resources like energy become unaffordable to them.

Resources are being allocated to the highest bidder. That includes energy, housing, good quality food, etc.

The poor are then placed on handout programs where their self-esteem and dignity is compromised. As monetary resources dwindle they are are forced to buy low quality food, which of course leads to health issues and lower life expectancy.

Meanwhile, the wealthy are given tax breaks in order to purchase electric vehicles and the taxpayers pay the bill to create the electric vehicle infrastructure.

Unfortunately the poor will suffer and this will not be a burden to the people who consume the greatest amount of resources and have the largest carbon footprints, ie the wealthy.

I also wonder how much fossil fuel will be consumed On the Border towns as people drive across to Oregon or Idaho to buy cheaper gas.
