An old college buddy - a complete GIS-nerd - sent me this. It is a good intro to Tim Walz. I’m even more impressed with him!

He’s speaking at an ESRI conference (ESRI is one of the ‘founders’ of Geographic Info Systems mapping). Walz discusses the importance of mapping, display of data, providing information to the public….and about how good governance depends on good data.

Very interesting talk, just over30 minutes. I believe this is from mid-July, before Harris asked him to be her VP running mate.
