Re: ICE Agents shoot US Citizen in the street
In Boston, an unarmed teenage boy complained that an officer hadn't paid his barber bill. The youth was forcefully hit in the head with the butt of a rifle by local law enforcement.
Word of the incident spread quickly and a large number of locals gathered in the street where the incident had happened to protest almost immediately.
As the crowd grew, angry protesters shouted slogans; some business owners, fearing property damage, shut their doors. Local authorities called for uniformed backup; backup came, well-armed.
The assembly was deemed "unlawful," and the crowd was ordered to disperse. Protesters began to throw snowballs in response. Some protesters carried sticks and clubs.
In response, multiple uniformed law enforcers fired on the crowd. The first protester to die was a man of African descent. Authorities justified the shooting by claiming that they "feared for their lives.”
The year was 1770, the authorities were British soldiers, the protest would later be called the Boston Massacre, and the first protester killed in that conflict was Crispus Attucks, a Black man considered by many to be a heroic American patriot and the first casualty of the American Revolution.
If, while reading this story, you found yourself siding with the authorities and thinking that the protesters should have dispersed when ordered, and/or that the protesters armed with snowballs and sticks deserved to be met with deadly force by armed law enforcement, be aware that you chose the side of the tyrant King George III not the American patriots.

Re: ICE Agents shoot US Citizen in the street
Little five year old Liam Ramos, pictured below, was just grabbed by ICE agents from his preschool in Minnesota, and then driven home to use as bait to get his dad to come out of the house. Both he and his dad now sit in a detention site in Texas, far from home, to isolate them from family and lawyers.
The official DHS policy has just been released for their ICE agents, declaring that they have the right to go door to door and break into homes, without a warrant. Constitution be damned.
A detainee in El Paso just died in custody, and of course ICE labelled it an "apparent suicide". The medical examiner determined that it was a clear homicide-- obvious strangulation while in detention. As always, ICE agents lie about literally everything.
ICE agents get upset when we refer to them as gestapo. Well, why don't they quit acting like gestapo, then?

To Ken's point a few days ago about ICE agents using body cams. In the case of the Renee Good shooting, the shooter was not wearing a body cam and the video he produced came from his cell phone.

A great example of a perverse incentive.Rideback wrote: Wed Jan 21, 2026 7:27 am A big reason why so many of the people kidnapped by ICE are not criminals and are US citizens is that ICE gives a bonus to agents that bring in people, whether they are then released for cause or not.
There has been some chatter arguing that the really egregious abuses in Minneapolis are being done by a small minority of the officers present. I don't know how to evaluate whether that is true or what it would mean if it is true.

Re: ICE Agents shoot US Citizen in the street
According to Homeland Security's own numbers, over half of the people detained by ICE and CBP were either US Citizens or immigrants lawfully present with no cause for detention. So basically half of the people they grabbed (estimated at around 10,000 total) were people they had no legal jurisdiction over.
There is a term for detaining someone without lawful authority. And I'd point out that any immunity that might apply to those officers and the people who gave them orders went out the window when they did things they had zero legal authority to do.
About Ken. Ken is the victim of what you might call mind control and brainwashing. His brain has been reprogrammed. He feels comfortable and safe believing the things he does, and feels uncomfortable and unsafe when his beliefs are challenged. Which is why he lashes out and calls people names &c. When you argue or "debate" with Ken you are arguing with someone's programming. Because of all this I consider actually arguing and engaging with Ken to be a lot like beating a disabled child. So unless some of his disturbed rants need to be called out I generally ignore him and anything he spews. At the bottom of it, I find him a pitiable figure, like so many other MAGA cult members.

Minnesota physicians speak out about ICE presence. Renee Good had a pulse 8 minutes after she was shot...
You'll need to forward to about 5 min in to video before they start to speak

ICE fails at due diligence by the hour. Statement from the man who had ICE break into his house and kidnap him, despite his being a US citizen. The civil suit is going to be swift and expensive for ICE.

Saying something in ALL CAPS doesn't make it true, it only demonstrates that you choose not to inform yourself so it is a mirror into your deliberate ignorance.

FAFO! DON'T IMPEDE OFFICERS PERFORMING THEIR LAWFUL DUTIES. It doesn't matter your 'opinion' about the president, whether you like or agree with the laws or whether in your 'ignorant' opinion the laws aren't being executed to your standards or views.
And for Jim, f*** off or bring your loudmouth to my face and give that a try JACKASS! I'LL SHOW EXACTLY HOW SUBMISSIVE I AM

Re: ICE Agents shoot US Citizen in the street
"BREAKING: A U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient was violently shoved to the ground by ICE, arrested, and locked up for 8 HOURS without access to a lawyer — simply for standing on a sidewalk and watching an arrest.
William Vermie, a combat-wounded Iraq War veteran, says he was peacefully observing when ICE agents began forcing bystanders back.
“They were shoving people off the sidewalk,” Vermie said. “I didn’t move fast enough — and they shoved me.”
Seconds later, he was tackled.
“They grabbed my leg, I went down, and they all piled on me and cuffed me,” Vermie said.
Vermie was taken to the Whipple Federal Building — where he was detained for eight hours and denied his basic Miranda right to legal counsel.
“They gave me water and a Band-Aid,” Vermie said. “But I’d rather have a lawyer than a Band-Aid when I’m being detained.”
His attorney, John Chitwood, says ICE blocked him from seeing his own client — claiming Vermie hadn’t “requested him by name,” even though Vermie had no way to contact his family.
“I’ve represented people accused of horrific crimes,” Chitwood said. “I’ve never seen this level of deliberate stonewalling.”
And his warning was chilling:
“If this is how they treat a combat-wounded American hero, how are they treating everyone else?”
Exactly.
This is beyond shameful. It’s un-American.
ICE agents treating veterans like criminals while calling themselves “patriots” tells you everything you need to know.
This isn’t about law and order.
It isn’t about immigration.
It’s about power.
It’s about intimidation.
And it’s about abusing authority with zero accountability."

The use of body cameras is a peculiar policy within ICE, as you can see from their own website they claim they don't have the $ to be able to supply body cameras to all of their agents.
