At this point I wish the Trump appointed Dist Attny investigating Hunter's laptop would just lay it out on the table and charge him. The 4 charges I've seen are laughable. At this point the only way to understand why he hasn't been charged is that it would be an embarassment to the Dist Attny but as long as he keeps them pending it's a political win for the Rep's who want to have something to yell about.

Politically, any accusations against the Biden family pale in comparison when the Dems play the whataboutism card about the Trump family.

The GOP-led House Oversight & Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer, who has been investigating Joe Biden and family, has basically told CNN that they haven't found anything illegal. Comer Said:

"Well, we’ve found a lot that’s certainly unethical, we’ve found a lot that should be illegal, though the line is blurry as to what is legal with respect to family influence-peddling. "

Should be "illegal"? Republicans literally think that storming and breaking into the US Capitol to stop the certification of an American election is "legal," so their "legalities compass" seems a bit skewed.
