We import certain grades of oil, because for instance, some refineries prefer certain types of oil. But we export others kinds…the US has always exported AND imported different types of energy and oil. Oil isn’t just one ‘thing’….there are many many types and grades of oil.
What part of ‘net exporter’ and ‘produce more than we consume’ is not clear to you?

The Hank's reward card takes some of the pain at the pump away. The Valley has always had higher gas prices than anywhere else. The price we pay to live here? Maybe after hunting season the prices will go down.

Even in Omak the price is is 40 cents less per gal than at Hanks which is usually lowest place in the Valley. I.e. Diesel 4.03 at tribal trails 10/23

Had to make a run to Costco Monday the 23rd... What a surprise!!! Regular $3.859!!! Other local stations were $4.099...

Come on Methow Valley... Get with the program!
