Let's see; Woodward talked to aides who told him the story, other aides confirmed it and now Moscow has confirmed that yes Trump sent the Abbott covid devices. What part of that is a conspiracy?
The calls to Putin during Trump's presidency were well known, as was his preference to believe Putin over his own Intel community, remember Helsinki?

"Russia has confirmed that Donald Trump sent the Kremlin sample Covid-19 tests in the early days of the pandemic, after revelations in veteran journalist Bob Woodward’s new book raised further questions about the former US president’s relationship with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The Trump administration “sent us several samples of test kits,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday, broadly supporting Woodward’s claim. His intervention comes after Trump denied the claims, telling ABC News they were “false.”

Russia is confirming the receipt of the Abbott Lab Covid Test machines that Trump shipped to Putin for his personal use.
I suppose that the confirmation is telling in and of itself.
The bag of burner phones brings up the question of whether the Saudi Prince was too arrogant or too naive to understand the danger he invited. Surely Jared Kushner taught him better than to rely on them, after all Jared figured out how to use WhatsAp and encrypted communications over a decade ago and he's been best buds with the Prince for nearly as long.
For legal purposes, the intent to conceal and disguise carries the day.

Yes, they can capture it on Putin's end even if Trump uses the burner phone(s) given him by Saudi Prince Sawbones.
Why would
anyone think that a "burner phone" given to them by MBS (or for that matter any foreign party) would somehow be safe or secure? Best to just go to wal-mart and pay cash for the cheapest prepaid cell phone you can find. And use a prepaid credit card to buy minutes.
I'd also assume in Trump's case that the call was likely compromised from the other end. There aren't that many international phone calls out of Russia to the USA and I'm pretty sure the NSA somehow monitors all of them. And just using basic traffic analysis you'd probably be able to figure out who was important and who was just calling their mom. A phone call between Trump and Putin would be at the top of the list.

Logan Act prosecution incoming?
We can be 100 percent certain that the NSA has the exact contents of each and every call.

By this point Trump
has to know that the US has thoroughly penetrated Putin's inner circle and that anything he tries to do with Putin is almost immediately known to US officials.

More revelations from Woodward's book 'WAR"
https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/08/politics ... 5QPwxC8G8g
From CNN: '“Woodward writes that [Saudi crown prince] bin Salman had an aide bring over a bag with about 50 burner phones, pulling out one labeled ‘TRUMP 45.’”
