Ok, so it's the Stupid Plan. Agree with you David. Maybe they want people to storm the White House. Sound familiar? But there would either a lot of deaths this time, or, best, the Guard, Police, etc. would lay down their arms and join them.

Let's see.

Largest three-month drop in the Dow since 1932.
Largest three-month drop in the S&P since 1928.
Largest market drop in the first three months of any presidency.
Bond are down.
The dollar is down.

Making both stocks, bonds, and the dollar go down at the same time takes extraordinary effort.

Keep this up for another three months and angry, bankrupt, unemployed mobs will be storming the White House.

If there is a plan, it is a reckless and stupid plan which is extremely risky. And the gray eminences supposedly behind these plans are pretty risk-averse.

The Plan is the road to autocracy-to sow chaos, instability, unknowns.

It would be a bit less frightening if I thought there was some kind of plan. A tiny bit.

The volatility of the markets is just staggering. The rich are opening up accounts in Switzerland as they no long view our Treasury bonds a safe bet. And now WSJ noting that this April is headed towards the worst seen since 1928-1932.
